Sensei Princeton Bailey is Chief Instructor of Bermuda Shotokan Karate-Do. He has won gold medals in both kata and kumite at the North American Karate Federation tournament, in Boston in the 1970s and 1980s.  Sensei Bailey also teaches martial arts classes for the Community Education Programme as a public service.  In his younger years Sensei Bailey has also studied Jiu-Jitsu under Master Nurnell Muhammed and Kung-Fu under Master Al Wharton.


 

                     

Sensei Charles Butterfield is the Head Instructor at the Francis Patton School Dojo.  Sensei Butterfield has been studying Martial Arts for the past 35 years.  His love for Karate-Do has afforded him the opportunity to travel to Brazil, Italy and England to officiate in WKO tournaments.  It also inspires him to mold many young people across Bermuda, teaching discipline and confidence. 

Sensei Butterfield's mission is to provide students with the opportunity to learn Traditional Shotokan Karate and to become healthy productive members of their community.

 


 

Sensei Jerry Bailey is the Head Instructor at the Elliott School Dojo.  He was the 1989 Bermuda Kumite Champion. During the WKO Pan-American World Championships in Brazil 1999, Sensei Bailey won a gold medal in kabudo, a silver metal in traditional kumite, and a bronze metal in kumite.
